DOVERRA is an innovative hybrid, of fiberglass-reinforced
cement.
Unlike traditional glass reinforced cement, DOVERRA'S patent
pending formula and processes allows us to incorporate an unusually
high ratio of advanced fibers into our mix design.
The resulting attributes of these innovative techniques give DOVERRA
distinctive aesthetic,
structural and noncombustible qualities.
An additional advantage is its comparative lightweight
of 4.4 Lbs. per S.F. when cast at 3/8‰,
contributing to its ease of installation.
FINISH
The surface of DOVERRA products has a unique look, much like
a natural stone.
All DOVERRA products have a factory applied, deep penetrating
impregnating / sealer designed to resist water and oil based stains
and maintain a natural look.
All spills should be wiped up soon after occurrence, to reduce potential
staining.
Painting or staining is un-necessary, given the inherent beauty of its
surface.
Should circumstances require the surface will accept alkyd-based primers.
COLOR
The material is fully blended with natural iron oxides, enhancing the
look, and integrity.
These minerals give DOVERRA permanent color stability.
Due to the nature of the raw materials, subtle variations
in the final color may occur.
STRENGTH
Technology and innovation combine to render DOVERRA harder than
marble, and slightly softer than granite!
Advanced fiber content gives DOVERRA an unusual
flexural strength, which enhances our products performance.
DOVERRA resists scratching and chipping, due to
its hardness factor. Typical care should be given, as one would natural
stone.
CLEANING
Non-abrasive, non-ammoniated cleaners such as "Sparkle‰ preserve
the factory finish. Ash and soot may be removed by first vacuuming and
scrubbing with a soft brush, using the above mentioned cleaner.
